Moartti was founded by brothers Felipe Moreno and Andrés Moreno. Their journey began far from traditional jewelry studios — in the remote alluvial mining regions of Bolivia, where they learned firsthand the value of responsible extraction, community strength, and respect for the environment. Through their work with Boliviaminera, Felipe and Andrés became early adopters and advocates for mercury-free technology and ethical alluvial gold mining, setting a new standard in a sector historically marked by harmful practices.
